Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Design Corpus (the "Service"), operated by Design Corpus ("we", "us"). By creating an account, purchasing a license, or connecting an AI agent to our MCP endpoint, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

Design Corpus is a curated reference library of publicly available website designs, together with extracted design metadata (colors, typography, spacing, section structure) and tooling that lets AI coding agents study a reference and build a new, original page in a similar visual style using your own content. The Service is a study and productivity tool. It is not a template marketplace and does not sell or license any third party's code, images, text, or brand assets.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • One account per person. Accounts, licenses, and access tokens are personal and may not be shared, resold, or pooled.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the Service.

3. Free tier and paid license

Free tier. Signed-in users may access a small set of sample references at no charge. The free tier may change or be withdrawn at any time.

Paid license. A one-time purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the full reference library and MCP tooling for as long as the Service operates, plus new references added during the update window stated at purchase (currently 12 months). Prices are shown at checkout; early-bird pricing is a limited offer and may end without notice.

What you may do: use the Service on unlimited projects, personal or commercial, and keep and use everything you build.

What you may not do: redistribute, resell, scrape, bulk-download, or mirror the reference library or its metadata; share access tokens; use the Service to build a competing reference library; or use the Service to infringe anyone's rights (see Section 5).

4. Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on license purchases: request a refund within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you. Refunds revoke license access immediately. We reserve the right to decline refunds for accounts showing substantial usage or signs of abuse (for example, bulk extraction of the library before requesting a refund). Payment processing is handled by Stripe; we never store your card details.

5. Intellectual property and acceptable use

The reference sites in the library belong to their respective owners. Design Corpus is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. All trademarks, logos, product names, and screenshots remain the property of their owners and appear solely for the purposes of study, commentary, and comparison.

You agree to use the Service to build original work in a similar visual style — layouts, structure, spacing, and general aesthetics are not owned by anyone. You agree not to:

  • Copy a reference site's text, images, illustrations, photographs, videos, logos, or brand identity into your own work.
  • Pass your work off as, or imply an association with, a reference site or its owner.
  • Reproduce a reference so closely — including its content and brand elements — that it could confuse users or infringe copyright or trademark rights.
  • Use the Service for phishing, impersonation, or any deceptive or unlawful purpose.

Our tooling is designed to enforce this: it substitutes your content and replaces imagery with placeholders. You remain solely responsible for what you publish. If you are unsure whether something crosses the line, don't ship it.

Removal requests. If you own a site in the library and would like it removed or its data corrected, email us and we will act promptly.

6. AI agents and third-party tools

You connect your own AI coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, or others) to our MCP endpoint. Those tools are provided by third parties under their own terms, and we do not control their output. Our build guidance is advisory; the agent — and you — decide what code is written. We are not responsible for the quality, security, or legality of code produced by third-party agents.

7. Availability, changes, and termination

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, add, or remove features and references, and may discontinue the Service with reasonable notice. On termination for your breach, your license ends without refund.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that any output produced with the Service will be error-free, accessible, secure, or free of third-party claims.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DESIGN CORPUS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your published work, or your violation of these Terms or of any third party's rights.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Design Corpus is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer law gives you additional rights.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
