Purpose of the screenshots

Screenshots and extracted metadata are presented for study, commentary, comparison, and educational purposes: to help builders understand what excellent web design looks like and why. Grades and descriptions are our editorial opinion. Inclusion in the library is not a review, ranking, or endorsement of any company or product, and exclusion implies nothing.

Design patterns versus protected assets

Layouts, section structures, spacing systems, and general visual styles are ideas and conventions — nobody owns them. Text, photographs, illustrations, videos, logos, and distinctive brand identities are protected. Design Corpus helps you learn from the former. Copying the latter is on you, and our Terms prohibit it.

Our tooling substitutes your own content and replaces imagery with placeholders. It does not, and cannot, guarantee that what you ultimately publish is non-infringing. You are solely responsible for your published work.
